Recent Events
CHANUKAH EVENTS As usual plenty was happening for all ages on Chanukah, with Chanukah Kiddushim, a magnificent tea and social arranged by the Social & Cultural Committee and events for children of all ages.
CHOLENT KIDDUSHIM As the cold winter continued hot cholent Kiddushim were held to keep everyone suitably fuelled. We were joined by Alex Brummer of the Daily Mail who gave a talk on current media issues of relevence to the Jewish community.
TU BISHVAT Tu Bishvat this year fell on Shabbat and a "Fruity" Shabbat Lunch for fifty members of the community who came together to celebrate the occasion.
CHEDER FRIDAY NIGHT The Cheder held a successful Friday night for Cheder children and their families. A traditional meal was served along with explanations songs and customs which were given by different children.
HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY Our thanks to Choirmaster Tony Blaisebalk and the CUS Choir for performing in the HMD event, along with all of those who attended this event at the City Hall. This tear the community was particularly well-represented at this important civic occasion.
