Introducing our home

                          picture 1

Here at Penylan House we pride ourselves on offering a warm, friendly and caring home. While we follow a traditional Jewish way of life, we are pleased to welcome non-Jewish residents.

Penylan House is a dual registered home, providing nursing and residential care. We are also able to offer day care and short term stays for respite and convalescence.

Our standards

Our home has been refurbished to a high standard to provide the best possible living and nursing environment

A very high standard of care is provided by our dedicated staff. It is their skills and caring attitude that make our home a happy and relaxing place to live in.

Meeting your needs

Every resident is recognised as an individual with particular needs. This extends not only to nursing and medical requirements, but also to the need for companionship, security, privacy and independence.

Our Nursing Manager/Matron will be happy to meet with you, to advise and answer any questions you might have.

Culture and Religion in our Home

Penylan House is run on a traditional Jewish basis and all Jewish holidays are celebrated and commemorated in the appropriate manner.

Religious activity is however voluntary, and no-one is required to do anything they are not comfortable with, though we do hope you will find our Jewish activities enjoyable and fulfilling.

We have a synagogue area adjacent to our main lounge where services for all festivals are held. One of the highlights of the week is Friday evening, when everyone sits down to a special meal.

Please come and visit us to see our excellent facilities at first hand.
