Turbulent Waters

Recent traumatic events on the world financial scene have proven that no investment vehicle is truly safe and that there is risk in everything.

This brings into sharp perspective the traditional maxim that our fortune for the year is decided on Rosh Hashanah and nothing we do during the year will change that – those destined to prosper will do so, even seemingly against the odds, and the rich and famous may just as easily fall from grace. 

All of this brings home to us the need to remember that it is G-d who is behind everything and it is in His power to help.  By ensuring that our activities are ‘kosher’ at all times and in every sense of the word – by showing that we have not forgotten Who is the real power behind our world, we can be sure that G-d in turn will not forget us and will shine his blessings upon us especially in times of need such as now.
