                                                     Our Facilities

Our state-of-the-art mikveh was opened just over a year ago.  Designed by renowned mikveh expert Rabbi Meir Posen and built in consultation with the London Beth Din, it is kosher lemehadrin.

The mikveh is available throughout the year by appointment only.    We appreciate as much notice as possible.

After a recent renovation our mikveh is up and fully running - A big thank you to Melvyn, Geoffrey and Phil for making this happen! The Mikvah is Kosher under the guidance of the London Beth Dins.

For confidential enquiries or for further information please contact Rebbetzin Rose on 07443 639893.

For online information about this important mitzvah please visit www.mikvah.org.

                                                       MENS MIKVAH HOURS
The Mikvah will be open for men to use on Erev Rosh Hashanah and Erev Yom Kippur From 10:00am– 1 hour before Services.

                                                           C.U.S. GIFT SHOP

Don‘t forget to look for all your Judaica needs in our local gift shop.

Open during office hours and at other times by appointment.

There is a good selection of greetings cards for all occasions, silverware (kiddush cups, candlesticks, menorot, havdalah sets, tallit clips, netilat yadayim cups, etc.), tablecloths, tallit and tefillin bags, challah boards and cloths, mezuzah cases, kippot, yahrzeit candles, seasonal gifts, etc..  There is also a small selection of jewellery, books and games.  We don’t do tallitot because there is too vast a range of sizes, styles, colours, etc.

The shop is ‘open’ during Shul's office hours – 9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday.  The cards are ‘self-service’ so they can be bought at any time.

The Shul contains a well-stocked library, with a variety of recent English publications as well as traditional Hebrew texts and translations of texts.  There is a separate children’s library with Jewish books for children of all ages.

We would like to extend our grateful thanks to the Gaba family for their generous donation of a large number of books to the CUS Library.

The books are donated in loving memory of Mr Alec Gaba ע״ה and we hope they will be used by many people, as  a fitting tribute to Mr Gaba’s dedication and love for Judaism and in particular for Jewish learning.
