                                                     Our Facilities

MIKVEH

Our state-of-the-art mikveh was opened just over a year ago.  Designed by renowned mikveh expert Rabbi Meir Posen and built in consultation with the London Beth Din, it is kosher lemehadrin.

The mikveh is available throughout the year by appointment only.    We appreciate as much notice as possible.

Linda Harris
                                                                         Open Monday-Thursday 9-3pm and
                                                                              at other times by arrangement

There is a good selection of greetings cards for all occasions, silverware (kiddush cups, candlesticks, menorot, havdalah sets, tallit clips, netilat yadayim cups, etc.), tablecloths, tallit and tefillin bags, challah boards and cloths, mezuzah cases, kippot, yahrzeit candles, seasonal gifts, etc..  There is also a small selection of jewellery, books and games.  We don’t do tallitot because there is too vast a range of sizes, styles, colours, etc.

The shop is ‘open’ during Shul's office hours – 9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday.  The cards are ‘self-service’ so they can be bought at any time.

LIBRARY

The Shul contains a well-stocked library, with a variety of recent English publications as well as traditional Hebrew texts and translations of texts.  There is a separate children’s library with Jewish books for children of all ages.

We would like to extend our grateful thanks to the Gaba family for their generous donation of a large number of books to the CUS Library.

The books are donated in loving memory of Mr Alec Gaba ע״ה and we hope they will be used by many people, as  a fitting tribute to Mr Gaba’s dedication and love for Judaism and in particular for Jewish learning.
