News or Services. Cardiff United Synagogue is a small vibrant orthodox community, with a warm, friendly, informal atmosphere. We are seeking an inspirational Rabbi or Rabbi/Rebbetzen Team to naturally lead our community. The successful candidate/s will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people of all ages, be self- motivated, energetic, well organized, and hardworking. Duties will include looking after the spiritual, religious, educational and pastoral needs of our diverse community, either on a full/part time basis. The successful candidate/s must have a recognised certificate of Smicha which is accepted by the Chief Rabbi. A competitive package is on offer, including a house with an eruv.
